Dear hiking enthusiasts!
On Saturday the hike to Saxon Switzerland will take place. Please pay attention to the following:
📍 We’ll meet at the main station in the west hall at 07:30. The train leaves at 08:00 on platform 21 (2 h ride).
🧢 Please bring clothing according to the weather (UV index 8, risk of sun burn☀️🕶) and a good amount of water & snacks (3 L of water, a lunch and some snacks)
👣 Only attend if you feel well & healthy. Dogs can’t join us.
- 💶 11 € for the train ticket (if you don’t have the „Deutschlandticket“)
- 🪙 3 € in cash or card for the ferry. There’s an automate just before the ferry, or with cash at the carter.
The hike will take about 5-7 hours (breaks included). We will take the train back likely at 04:40 pm from “Kurort Rathen”, so we’ll be back in Leipzig at around 7 pm.

Liebe Wanderbegeisterte!
Am Samstag findet unsere Wanderung in die Sächsische Schweiz statt. Für einen reibungslosen Ablauf möchten wir euch bitten, folgendes zu beachten:
📍 Treffpunkt ist am Hauptbahnhof in der Westhalle um 07.30 Uhr. Der Zug fährt um 08:00 Ubr auf Gleis 21 (2 h Fahrtdauer) ab.
🧢 Nehmt bitte wettergerechte Kleidung (UV-Index 8, Sonnenbrandgefahr ☀️🕶), sowie ausreichend Trinken & Essen mit. 3 Liter Wasser und ein Mittagessen + Snacks!
👣 Kommt nur mit, wenn ihr euch fit und gesund fühlt! Hunde können leider nicht mit.
- 💶 11 € für‘s Zugticket (Falls ihr kein Deutschlandticket habt)
- 🪙 3 € in BAR oder Karte für für die Fähre. Vor Ort gibt es einen Automaten, oder am Fuhrmann bezahlen.
Die Wanderung wird ca. 5-7 Stunden (mit Pausen) dauern. Voraussichtliche Rückfahrt 16:29 Uhr von „Kurort Rathen“, damit wir gegen 19 Uhr zurück in Leipzig sind.
